The Trump Administration is looking to deregulate the Endangered Species Act, which has been around for over forty years saving thousands of species from extinction.
Tucked deep way in the Himalayan mountains, there is a magical cave where you can find optimal spiritual healing. People from all over the world fly in just to experience it’s powers. Think you want to visit this place for yourself? Good luck getting half way across the world…
JK! It’s in Columbus, Ohio! But I’m not kidding about a salt cave with healing properties!
My friend, Aimee (@sustainablyaimee), and I got the chance to experience what it was like meditating inside the Tranquility Salt Cave. There are all types of metaphysical healing practices that are offered, along with gems, crystals, and more at their store inside! Leslie gave us a tour, and we were so excited to give this a shot! It really is a once in a lifetime experience, without having to do all the effort of getting yourself to a real outdoor cave! ;)
What is Himalayan Salt and why should I care about it?
Pink Himalayan salt is a type of rock salt from the Punjab region of Pakistan, near the foothills of the Himalayas. It’s actually almost chemically the same as table salt, but it’s said to be a healthier form! It has up to 84 trace minerals, and lower sodium. Himalayan salt lamps are believed to filter dust, mold, mildew and pet dander from indoor air.As far as it’s metaphysical properties, It is said to have a gentle, but strong grounding and centering energy to it. (AKA why I have two of them in my room at home!) They can also help balance EMFS, which if you’re in front of an electronic device a lot like I am, Himalayan salt can be really beneficial.
What was the session like?
The salt cave has lights that alternative colors in relation to our Chaka system, and there is floor to ceiling Himalayan salt! There is a ventilation system to help with circulating it salt, but we still could taste it upon leaving! Haha We sat down in our zero gravity chairs, listened to the tranquil soft music, and sunk deep into a 30 minute meditative state. It was just Aimee and I in the cave, so it was really special to experience it with just us two.
How did you feel after?
Totally relaxed! I instantly felt calmer once the 30 minutes was up, and I would love to go back for another session. There is something about removing yourself from the outside world for a while and escaping into your body.
If you are from the area, or ever find yourself in Columbus,
